Spent 10 nights in 2 bedroom apartment Los Diamantes (phase 1) in Los Cristianos and it was a lovely apartment, with all expected facilities for a self catering stay, had AC in both bedrooms and was very effective and a life saver in the heatwave which was occurring in Tenerife at the time. There was also a large fan in the lounge, which added a little bit of coolness to the main living area. Apart from the two bedrooms, 1 with a large queen size bed and the other double bed (both comfy). There are two nice balconies, 1 with a nice rattan sofa/chair set and the other with table and 4 chairs, this one also has some drying facilities, if you wish to dry any washing if using the washing m/c in the bathroom. Both receive a lot of sun during the day, with the larger rattan furniture one having a sun awning, which can be brought down to give a little relief. There is a large TV in the lounge which has everything you could want to watch, including all sports and UK channels, as well as VOD, with massive choice of movies if you want to get out of the sun (or bars!!) for any length of time. There is also a safe for any valuables you may have. There is a large upstairs terrace with this property, which has a couple of loungers, plus two sets of tables and chairs one with some cover, but we didn’t use this much due to the excessive heat but was a very nice space. It also has a BBQ for use, but again, we didn’t use for same reason. The pool area in this part of the complex is very nice, with a couple of showers/toilets and a decent sized pool. There is also a good amount of loungers and we could usually get one for each of the 4 of us. There is another sister complex which is a 2 minute walk from the one we stayed in and this had a lovely sun terrace pool bar, which was ran by a really friendly family, doing some great deals on beers and very nice food too. Pool not as big and was busier than the one we stayed on our visits, but lots of loungers and some really nice two people hammocks. Think there is a 3rd complex, but we never found this so only used phases 1 & 2. The complex is in a really good location, surrounded by plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, with a 24hr one about 5 minutes walk away. Also, very close to transport links for Siam Park/Mall and a taxi rank just down the road. Overall a great family holiday and would recommend accommodation and resort to friends and family!!
